Rising Hope Global Foundation appreciates and values every contribution made towards our charitable mission. We understand that circumstances may sometimes require a donor to request a refund. This policy outlines our approach to donation refunds and cancellations.
1. General Refund Policy
As a registered non-profit organization (CIN: U85500MH1999NPL120717), all donations received are immediately channelled towards our charitable programs — education, healthcare, women empowerment, environment, and disaster relief.
- Donations are generally non-refundable as they are immediately committed to ongoing programs
- However, we evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis with compassion and fairness
- Refund requests must be made within 7 calendar days of the donation date
- Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days of approval
2. Eligible Refund Situations
Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate payment: If a donor has been charged more than once for the same donation due to a technical error
- Wrong amount: If the donor was charged an amount significantly different from what was intended
- Unauthorized transaction: If the donation was made without your authorization (fraud)
- Technical failure: If payment was deducted but donation confirmation was not received
3. Non-Refundable Situations
- Change of mind after a successful, intentional donation
- Requests made after 7 days of the donation date
- Donations where 80G receipts have already been issued and tax benefits claimed
- Donations made in memory of someone or as a gift
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:
- Full name as provided during donation
- Email address and phone number
- Transaction/Receipt number
- Date and amount of donation
- Reason for refund request

5. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method only
- Credit/Debit Card refunds: 5–7 working days
- Net Banking / UPI refunds: 3–5 working days
- Wallet refunds: 1–3 working days
- If the original payment method is unavailable, refund may be processed via NEFT/bank transfer
6. Cancellation of Recurring Donations
- Recurring monthly/annual donations can be cancelled at any time
- Please contact us at least 5 working days before the next scheduled payment date
- Cancellations will be effective from the next billing cycle — amounts already processed will not be refunded

7. Tax Receipt (80G) After Refund
If a refund is approved and processed, any 80G tax exemption certificate issued for that donation must be returned or cancelled. The donor will be responsible for any tax adjustments required due to the refund.
